During Quarantine I have found myself watching Netflix even more than usual. I started to gravitate towards Hulu a few months ago, due to the lack of movies I deemed watchable on Netflix. I was proved wrong by the increase in great movie selection made available by Netflix. There has been an increase in films I have heard about but never seen before. There is so many available that I don’t even know where to start. Thrillist.com helped me solve that issue.

Thrillist is an online media website that covers food, drink, travel and entertainment. It is actually pretty cool they keep the list updated with the 100 best movies currently on Netflix. Netflix takes content down to make room for new things every once in a while, so it is nice to have the list constantly being updated. I can’t tell you how many times I have thought of a movie I watched on the site, just to go on it and see they weren’t streaming it anymore. There is even an option to sign up for a weekly newsletter to stay up to date on currently streaming recommendations. I stumbled across Thrillist list when I searched for Netflix movie recommendations. There are a lot of other sites with recommendations, I just really liked the set-up of this particular site.

Having done my own version of recommending shows, seeing that it is someone’s job to do it makes me think it could be something I might want to do. Like how cool it would be to have to keep up with the movies Netflix streams and find the ones you think others would enjoy the most. I have found movies that I have never even heard of but gave them a chance based on the recommendation from Thrillist list. It is filled with movies of various genres to make sure everyone can find something that interests them. You can find the link here.
